Vasya Dmytryk ( b. 1991, Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine) graduated from the Grekova Art School in Odesa in 2016. He works mostly with sculpture and installations. Member of the SRZ-2 community.
In his artistic practice, Dmytryk often explores industrial systems and their interaction with the natural environment, where new coordinated connections are created between them.
His pieces refer to figurative traditions across a range of cultures and historical periods.
Dmytryk creates sculptures primarily out of wood, metal, composites, and found objects.
Lives and works in Odesa, Ukraine.
Participant in Ukrainian exhibitions and residencies.
His works are in private collections in the USA, Great Britain, Belgium, Spain, the Netherlands, Germany, as well as in the collection of the Odessa National Art Museum and the Museum of Contemporary Art of Odessa.
